Abstract
This article is adapted from the speech titled Tech-Infused Gamification in LBE Experiences, delivered at the SATE Asia 2024 conference at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, by Xi (Amelia) Li.1 By integrating AI, XR, and interactive design, gamification increases immersion, social interaction, and player agency. From theme parks to museums, real-world case studies illustrate how cutting-edge technologies create more engaging and memorable experiences. Finally, this article examines the future of LBE, where digital and physical play continue to merge, shaping the next generation of entertainment.
