These technologies have also drawn attention to the current status of digital development in Chinese fine arts. In fact, digital research and research and development projects on Chinese fine arts have been underway for over a decade. Numerous research institutes and scholars have focused their research on areas such as the digitization of art images and the mapping of art knowledge. They have achieved many significant results. However, compared to Europe and the United States, the digitization foundation of Chinese fine arts still has many deficiencies and lags, which constrain the cross-media and cross-cultural dissemination and application of Chinese art and culture.
